Dr Doug Somerville, Technical Specialist for Honey Bees from the NSW Department of Industry and Investment, recently received the Award of Excellence from the Australian Honey Bee Industry Council at their recent annual conference in Queensland. Presenting the Award is AHBIC Chairman Lindsay Bourke. This award is to acknowledge an individual’s exemplary service to the Australian beekeeping industry and is awarded annually to a worthy recipient.
