WA Honey Festival 7th May 2017

West Australia is celebrating its annual Honey Month in May, and will kick off the month with the Honey Festival in the Swan Valley.  We wish to extend an invitation to all beekeepers to join in the festivities at The House of Honey , 867 Great Northern Highway, Herne Hill on Sunday 7 May 10am to 4pm.

11:00   Commercial loaders demonstrations EZYLOADER in carpark

1130    Honey cake judging and winners announced

1300    Talks and presentations

  • Winners of honey, beeswax and beeswax sculptor completion
  • Beginning in beekeeping (Flowhive vs Langstroth hive)
  • Bee Nutrition by Dave Leyland
  • Changes to Labelling Laws

1430-1500 Q&A with the beekeepers
